I`m doing a micro camper van conversion (fiat dolbo) and wanted a coolbox that did not require vents cutting in the side of the car like a 3 way fridge. After much research this coolbox was the one I decided on. Its quite expensive, but worth every penny. It does make a small noise when it is cooling items down, but then switches itself off when its reaches the desired temperature, and hold this temperature very well.
It has a built in voltage reducing transformer, so you don`t have to buy one to run it off 240 volts at a campsite hook up.
There are cheaper ones on the market, but I think it is worth paying the extra for thi quality coolbox.

Bought our CF26 to replace a larger older non Waeco unit; so we had positive experience over the electric toolbox options and ice bricks.

This product "deserves" praise... does exactly what is says it will do.

Our recent tour included Spain at 35˚C and South of France at similar temperatures... no problem for the CF26...

We used it everyday, for 3 weeks for fresh food and drink. For VW T5 T6 Caravelle owners, It fits perfectly between the 2 rear Captains chairs, not using valuable rear boot space. It was regularly left running in our T6 overnight at -1˚C and was still running in the morning at -1˚C, with no adverse effect on the battery.

On occasion we took into the hotel room with no fridge and plugged it into the mains with the mains lead supplied.

A fantastic product, could not be better and worth every penny spent.

    Very pleased with the CF26.
There have been some confusing and contradictory reviews of this product but we've found it excellent.
has worked very well, kept its temperature and has good capacity.
It's quite heavy and not very portable but once in the car, it's stable and has done the job on long trips to Italy. Recommended.

Just bought this product after a lot of thought as for the size of the fridge it does seem a little expensive however If your going camping for a few days and want a fridge that can run off a leisure battery this is about your best option ! I have a campervan with a 100 watt solar panel and this fridge ran along with a TVs water pump and lights for 4 days and the battery didn't drop below 12.6 volts (about half charge) and the solar panel kept charging it back up during the day ! Fantastic fridge that keeps everything really cold very well insulated so the compressor hardly needs to kick in !
I fit a bottle of wine a full pizza 2 packs of burgers 2 packs of bacon 2 pints of milk 4 beers a steak 2 lamb steaks a large carton of orange juice and 6 cans of beer in ! And there was still room ! So the size it's quite deceiving !
