Simple installation of this quiet running fridge with a decently sized 3 star freezer compartment.
We are using the fridge only on our 12 volt DC supply though the built-in ability to run it from a mains AC supply is a nice touch. We have been running the fridge for a few weeks now and it seems to be reasonably frugal on its power consumption - the manufacturers claim of a current draw in the low 2's amps in ambient temperatures in the low to mid-twenties seem realistic. It is perhaps not the prettiest fridge around though the looks should improve when I replace the standard front panel with an oak-veneered plywood panel. The catch for ventilating the fridge when not in use is a good idea.
Internal temperature of the fridge compartment at a setting below "halfway on the dial" is cold & perfectly adequate, and well-maintained; the freezer compartment does just what it says.
We do not drain the fridge to an external point - not a straightforward process on a boat when the fridge is built-in - but remove the internal drain tray from time to time; this is a bit of a fiddle but works OK.
There seems to be scope to improve the storage arrangements on the door. There is a well-sized bottom shelf for milk/drinks bottles/etc, with two fixed shelves at the top of the door, the upper of which has a pivoting clear plastic cover; whilst the shelves are fine in themselves it would be more useful if the lower one were height-adjustable - there seems plenty of room between it in it's current position and the tops of bottles on the bottom shelf - and better still if there were a further shelf .....
We bought this fridge to replace our previous fridge, an Engel, which had died (after 24 years!) and are very pleased with it's performance and delighted with it's capacity. We only hope that it is as durable as it is practical.

Not very modern looking but it performs well and seems like a very robust Fridge freezer.
The vent catch for when not in use is a great feature, Plug and play installation was easy to follow. I use it on 110v and 12v.
Only used once so with time I will have a better idea.
