The new Sandbanks Optimal Inflatable Kayak is designed to perform on any water, providing excellent speed on flat lakes and the agility to excel in whitewater. It uses a V-shaped hull for superior stability, and this hull profile also reduces drag through the water. The rear of the kayak is designed to shed water efficiently, utilising a rounded rear profile to smooth the flow of water.

Designed to rival rigid kayaks

The Optimal uses a twin-hull design, with two inflation chambers for extra rigidity and comfort. The hull stiffness afforded by this design, alongside the intelligent profile of the kayak, place it in competition with traditional rigid kayaks. It also includes features traditionally reserved for rigid kayaks, such as front and rear luggage straps, lower leg support and a removeable skeg for extra speed and stability at sea.

The kayak comes as a kit, including a wheeled carry bag, Bravo two-stage pump, lightweight aluminium 4-piece paddles, removeable seats and a 3 year warranty.
