Extended season heat pumps which should be installed outdoors, Hydro-Pro Swimming Pool Heat Pumps feature an oversized heat exchanger in order to maintain efficiency at lower air temperatures, making it capable of operating in ambient temperatures as low as -5°C whilst still extracting heat from the air (and as 80% of the energy produced is obtained from the ambient air then you’ll easily also save money on running costs whilst still heating your pool!).

Built from high quality materials including an ABS cabinet, stainless steel, PVC and Titanium (for the heat exchanger), the Hydro-Pro Swimming Pool Heat Pump is resistant to chlorine and salt and is also equipped with a low noise rotary compressor and fan for quiet operations. For ease of use the Hydro-Pro Swimming Pool Heat Pump has an LCD display whilst a flow switch ensures that the unit can’t run without water flow in order to prevent damage.

How does a Hydro-Pro Swimming Pool Heat Pump work?

Very simply, Hydro-Pro Heat Pumps absorb heat from the surrounding air which then gets transferred to your swimming pool. For every kW of energy consumed by the Hydro-Pro heat pump up to 6kW of heat then gets transferred to your pool (when the ambient temperature is +15°C).

Intelligently compact for an easy installation

Note: The Hydro-Pro Heat Pump needs to be installed on a by-pass after the filtration pump (it's no longer necessary to tune your heat pump with a by-pass due to the full-flow heat exchanger of the Hydro-Pro!).
