A cost effective alternative for heating your swimming pool, an Architectural Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger unit is commonly used as a secondary or back up swimming pool heating source and is plumbed into both your home boiler and the pipe work of your swimming pool.

How does an Architectural Stainless Steel Heat Exchanger work?

Hot water from your boiler is piped in and then runs through the stainless steel pipes and back to your boiler. Pool water is also piped in, but runs through a second set of stainless steel pipes and on to the pool. The cool water of the swimming pool is warmed as it draws heat from the hot water from the boiler.

• The size of heat exchanger you may require will be determined by the BTU rating of your home boiler.
• We recommend that you choose a heat exchanger with a larger rating than your boiler.
• For best results, an ideal set up involves having your home boiler as close to your swimming pool as possible as installation of a heat exchanger involves a lot of pipe work.
