Cool Boxes

Welcome to our range of Camping and RV Cool Boxes

Ideal for daytrips and camping, designed to keep food fresh and cool!

Which Type of Cool Box do I Need?

When choosing a cool box for your camping adventures, it’s important to consider how long you’ll be away, the power sources available, and your cooling needs. Here’s a quick guide to the main types:

1. Thermoelectric

Perfect for short trips, thermoelectric coolers run on 12/24V from your car or leisure battery and can also plug into mains power. They’re lightweight, quiet, and fume-free—ideal for keeping in your tent or vehicle. Best used with ice packs and pre-chilled food, they cool contents relative to the outside temperature (typically 12°C to 22°C below ambient).

  • Can be powered by car, mains, or leisure battery

  • Compact and ideal for day trips or short camping stays
  • Safe to use in enclosed spaces like tents or cars

2. Absorption

Offering flexibility with gas, 12V, or mains power, absorption cool boxes are great for longer stays or if you're camping off-grid. They operate silently, making them ideal for use in awnings or shared spaces. A practical choice if space is tight or you're planning to stay in one place.

  • Multiple power options including LPG for off-grid use

  • Completely silent operation
  • Great for longer trips with steady power needs

3. Compressor Cool Box

The premium option in cooling, compressor cool boxes deliver reliable, fridge-like performance even in high temperatures. Powered by 12/24V or mains, they’re energy-efficient, quiet, and often compatible with solar panels. Ideal for serious campers and longer expeditions.

  • Excellent cooling performance in all weather conditions

  • Very low power consumption and solar compatible
  • Maintains exact temperatures like a home fridge/freezer

4. Camping Cool Boxes (requires ice packs)

Simple and effective, passive cool boxes rely on ice packs to keep contents chilled. With thick insulation, they’re perfect for weekend trips or when electricity isn’t available. Just freeze your ice packs ahead of time—many campsites offer free re-freezing services.

  • No power required—just add ice packs

  • Lightweight and easy to carry
  • Affordable and low maintenance option
