Ordering was a breeze, although delivery via FedEx was drawn out, FedEx tracking was saying "out for delivery today" - for 3 working days that spanned a weekend!
The product, well made and robust for its design, the compressor unit with most of the noise, hangs outside and makes this reasonably quiet within the van itself, with the inner unit standing up inside the window.
It's designed to hang over a typical caravan type window with the bracket and connections between the units fitting neatly in the space allowed when your window is locked in the vent position. The inside unit operates effectively producing cold air which can be set for the inside temperature between 16°C - 31°C with a verticle swing bar, although the sideways direction is only a manual control.
We have the smaller 3200btu unit which is quoted for up to a 5mtr van, although ours is 7mtr, with a raised permanent rear double which reduces volume so this works well. The unit can be controlled using panel front buttons on the inside unit or via an app that can be installed via either of the two main mobile operating systems.
The unit can run as dehumidifier - there is a drain tube to fit if required, a plain fan to circulate air or on chill to provide cold air. There is also a night setting, this we haven't actually used properly yet so cannot provide effective review yet.
It uses 390watts on chill (measured with a plug in power meter) and 21watts just on blow, I didn't measure the dehumidifier as I hadn't fitted that drain tube.
Overall we are very pleased with this unit, it sits in its own box and needs to be attached to the brackets(using supplied thumb screws) before lifting into place, I managed this on my own (I'm 67) although it would be easier with a second person inside to help guide the inside unit as it's passed through the open window.
Space aboard is required for the box, as it cannot be left fitted while travelling, I would suggest.

A bit awkward initially but after a bit of practise works very well. Had a lot of comments on it and it's not as noisy as you'd expect. Recommended item.
