The Kampa Drive Away Tail Nest is a compact rear awning designed to attach over the open tailgate of compatible hatchbacks, cars and SUV's with a connection height of 160-190 cm, giving you practical additional living space without the bulk of a full awning system. This awning is made from durable, weather-resistant 75D Polyester with a PU coating and taped seams, it provides reliable protection from rain and wind while remaining lightweight and easy to manage. The Tail Nest slips over the raised tailgate and secures with adjustable webbing straps and pegging points, forming a simple but effective seal around the rear of the vehicle. Its fibreglass pole frame creates usable headroom and structure, while large windows allow in natural light and can be covered for privacy when needed. This makes it ideal for extending your van’s living area on site. Being a a drive-away you can disconnect it when you need to move the vehicle. It packs down small into the supplied carry bag, making it well suited to campervan touring, weekend trips, and off-grid setups where space and weight matter.

This Drive away awning comes with windows that can be folded up and used as door and converted into canopies with optional poles. Thick guylines and peg points for secure tensioning. Internally within the awning lantern hanging points are available for convenient interior lighting.
