Compact and easy to pitch campervan awning

The Vango Faros III Air awning is a compact, lightweight drive-away awning designed for campervans. With a connection height of 180–210cm, it’s compatible with popular vans such as the VW T6, Ford Custom, and other similarly sized campervans. As the most compact Vango drive-away awning in the range, the Faros provides valuable extra living space or camping storage, and its quick, easy setup makes it perfect for weekend trips, touring, and short breaks.

The Faros Air Low is packed with practical features, including a large roll-up front door that opens the awning to the outdoors and a secondary mesh door for improved airflow. A large diamond-clear window and multiple ventilation panels help keep the interior bright and comfortable. Pre-angled AirBeams give better structure and stability than traditional beams, while high-level AirZone ventilation helps minimise condensation. The included privacy curtains can be rolled away or toggled back when not needed.

For flexible pitching, the Vango Faros Air comes with over-vehicle straps and Velcro roof-bar tabs as standard. The over-vehicle straps attach to the awning tunnel and secure over the top of the van, making them compatible with pop-top roofs. If your campervan has roof bars, the pre-attached roof-bar tabs offer additional support. The awning can also connect to C-channel rails, multi-rails, and wind-out awnings such as Fiamma and Thule when used with a Vango drive-away kit (optional extra). A pole-and-clamp kit (optional extra) provides a secure fit for classic VW campers or any vehicle with a roof gutter.
