Shame about the 2 pin plug. I suppose my warranty will be gone if I change it. Apart from that it works nicely and switches between 240V and 12V automatically
Ordered to replace the same which was 10 years old when it failed on the mains output. Very easy to install, just unplug and replug like for like leads. Jackson’s had stock kept me informed and delivered quickly. Originally ordered one from Apollo Motorhomes (cheaper) but later found they had no stock and had disregard for corresponding with their customer, would not recommend them.
Lets face it maiins adapters are never going to be glam.... but this seems to provide the fridge with the electricity it needs, switching to mains when it can to save your battery. But mine came with a european two pin plug so be prepared to change tp a UK one
I have fitted the Waeco fridge into our sailing boat to replace a twenty year old Engel fridge. The transformer was easy to install. The only reason I did not give it five stars was because the mains lead was a little to short.
