The ADVENTURER 12 volt Electric Blown Air Heater Kit is a powerful and efficient off grid (using your leisure battery) heating solution for campervans. With a power output of 600W, it utilises three PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heaters and a fan to rapidly heat the ambient air inside your camper.

Intelligent Temperature Control (Download the APP)

The ADVENTURER controller plays a crucial role in maintaining the desired ambient temperature within the campervan or caravan. It uses a temperature sensor to determine the appropriate level and ensures that your leisure battery is never over discharged. The control interface includes a fascia mounted potentiometer with an LED indicator, as well as a Bluetooth iOS/Android app for convenient timed operation.

Advanced Heating Elements and Control

The ADVENTURER Electric Air Heater Kit incorporates three heater elements to achieve rapid heating in your campervan. Once the target temperature is reached, the unit intelligently switches to single element heating to maximise battery capacity utilisation. It optimises power consumption by stepping current loads and reducing fan current as much as possible. The night mode/maintaining mode feature allows for matching running current to the mains charger capacity, resulting in reduced fan noise during heating.

Flexible Heating Options

The AHC12-600W model of the ADVENTURER Electric Air Heater Kit can be configured to heat automatically while driving or when connected to a mains supply. This ensures that the maximum battery capacity is available for off-grid heating needs.

Recommended Leisure Battery Capacity

Due to the considerable energy consumption of the ADVENTURER 12v Electric Blown Air Heater Kit, it is recommended to have a minimum of 200Ahr AGM battery or 100Ahr Lithium battery capacity to ensure adequate heating.

Advantages of EV Heating

Compared to diesel heating systems, EV (electric vehicle) heating offers several advantages, there is no need to worry about flammable diesel or refuelling. Additionally, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and diesel fumes are eliminated.

Stay Safe with Two Overheat Protection Systems

The ADVENTURER 600W Electric Air Heater Kit has two overheat protection systems to keep you safe. The first system is a control system that will shut the heater down if the input temperature reaches 52°C. The second system is a single-use thermal fuse that will break contact if the internal core temperature of the double insulated housing reaches 110°C.
