The only replacement holding tank is apparently the latest type with wheels, which is useful, but has reduced capacity which,being a disabled, live aboard boater, is a disadvantage.

I didn't want a new Thetford cassette -because I had one (NOT supplied by Jacksons) until it jammed and broke. Then of course I needed a new one in a hurry.

That was when Jackson's came to the rescue with what appears to be an excellent replacement - if very expensive and including extras I don't need.

I've had 10 of these cassette in the last 30 years and never a failure before - most of them passed on to new owners along with their vehicle. So hope this Thetford cassette failure is a temporary glitch and not a new trend.

On needing to replace my old C200 Cassette I was pleased to learn the new versions are fitted with wheels and a handle. This greatly improves the 'moveability' of the product. They are substantially built as is evidenced by the fact that my old one is about ten years old and has seen use across many European countries. I am sure the new one will give similar service. The only minor drawbback is that the volume has had to be slightly reduced to accommodate the wheels. Jackson's advice and service is second to none.
