The Thetford refrigerator ventilation kit is designed to provide extra cooling performance to you Thetford fridge in ambient temperatures which are too hot to handle. The kit will help force out warm air via the upper vent allowing cooler air to enter through the bottom vent into the combustion area.

    Fridge used to work in summer around ten odd degrees and milk would go off. Use van for living in while on shift pattern so constantly.
    Fitted fan while temperatures were hitting low thirties in June. BEST think I ever did. Transformed now it’s running at temperatures in range of around 2 degrees. Could be the fridge from house in car it’s that good.
    Thumbs up and would recommend to anyone with a thetford fridge to purchase and fit. Take your time and it’s not fiddly if you’re confident at DIY.

    I have not installed the fan yet because it will require the fridge to be removed from its housing.
