Victron Energy BatterySafe Mode Prevents Battery Damage

Quick charging of a battery requires a high charge current in combination with a high absorption voltage and creates increased heat, which if not correctly regulated can cause damage to occur to the battery.

The Phoenix Adaptive battery charger benefits from Victron Energy BatterySafe technology which prevents battery damage by automatically limiting the voltage increase once the gassing voltage has been reached. Additionally, a temperature sensor regulates the charge rate to ensure the battery temperature does not exceed operation limits.
