Brunner Split Air Conditioner for UK Caravan and Motorhome
Brunner 3000 BTU Portable Motorhome Air Conditioning Unit
The Brunner Polarys Twinair 3000 is the perfect solution to suit your cooling needs. Convenient to set up, no permanent installation, ideal when installing a roof mounted unit isn't a practical option.
Delivers 3000BTU of cooling power whilst offering silent operation allowing you to enjoy a quiet nights sleep in the perfect room temperature. The Brunner AC consists of two parts including a condenser and an evaporator. The condenser is positioned on the outside of your vehicle, expelling heat outside, whilst the evaporator is positioned on the inside delivering fresh cool air into your motorhome. Connected via flexible hose that sits in between your motorhomes window.
These mini air cons are compact compared to bulky fitted units, suitable if your vehicles roof can't support a roof unit due to height or weight restrictions, or if solar panels are already installed. Super easy to install without the hassle of professional rooftop installation; simply hang in your vans window when needed. Control from anywhere using via app. Set and adjust your vans temperature at the push of a button, remotely from your phone.

Nice ‘little’ unit
I do not own a caravan. I bought this because I was sick of having a ‘quiet’ aircon unit humming away, and getting in the way to cool my bedroom. When you have an all in one unit with a noisy compressor as part of it, it can never be quiet. I have the compressor outside the window, sitting on a stool on the flat roof whilst the quiet fan unit is sitting on the window sill. The window does not need to be open very much for the various small pipes to go through the gap. It does not take too much insulation foam to fill the gap, making a barrier for heat and insects.
I am impressed with it‘s performance and the lack of noise and went to order another one for the front room, but unfortunately they are now out of stock. -
Motorhome Airconditioning unit
I researched this intensely before deciding to buy but was still sceptical but having now tried it I am delighted with its performance. Yes it’s heavy and cumbersome to fit (which is why it’s a 4 and not a 5 rating) but once it’s in place it works like a dream. Brought our internal temperature of the van from 30+ to 16degrees whilst in France this week. It’s great value for money compared to fixed roof versions too. I’m surprised to say that I would fully recommend it to anyone (hence the review).
