Thermal Blinds for Mercedes Sprinter and VW Crafter Van & Campervan
All year round insulation for your Mercedes Sprinter and VW Crafter Camper
This thermal shield is a 3-part solution to both provide the best insulation for your camper against the cold in the winter, and also high thermal insulation during the summer months. The shield is easily installed with sucker pads which are included to provide the perfect privacy screen for your Mercedes Sprinter or VW Crafter Campervan.
7-layer construction with reflective foil for summer
Our thermal blinds use a 7-layer insulating design to provide excellent thermal characteristics. The outer layer uses an aluminium foil coating, which reflects the sun's thermal UV rays to keep your van cool in summer. These blinds are designed to match the profile of windows in a Sprinter or Crafter van, ensuring a perfect fit with excellent privacy and no light leaks.
Foam insulation for warmth in winter
These 7-layer insulated blinds include insulation grade foam, which keeps your van both cool in summer and warm in winter. Thanks to the suction cups, it's a quick and lightweight way to add privacy and insulation to your camper.
Thermal shield for cab insulation and Privacy screen features:
- Covers windscreen and side windows - all cab windows
- 7-layer insulation
- Reflects solar radiation
- Excellent insulation against cold
- High thermal insulation against heat in summer
- An ideal privacy screen
- Sucker pads included for easy installation
- Suitable for Mercedes Sprinter 2007 onwards and VW Crafter vans from 2007 - 2017
I purchased these because of the previous reviews and wanted something that would keep the warmth inside and the cold outside. They arrived saturday so i fitted them straight away. the door pieces have massive gaps because the suction cup location is too far from the edge. you can see inside the van so the thermal properties is nill. it will need magnets to make them fit properly so there are no gaps. The windscreen piece is 2 inch wider than the windscreen....the top 2 central suction cup holes are on the dimpled part of the windscreen adjacent to rear view mirror location...so they dont stay stuck. from outside it looks dreadful and again has gaps letting light/cold in and warmth out. I emailed Jacksons about this on saturday with pictures, again on monday and again on Tuesday. Tuesday pm i used live chat as still no reply to my emails. I was told basically they are 8 times cheaper than the flamia ones so you get what you pay for. I dont recommend these thermal cab screens nor do i recommend Jacksons. you can make your own out of reflectix better and cheaper.
Originally bought a set from amazon by Summit but they did not fit properly and felt a bit cheap. These however are nice and thick, the sucker pads are good quality and don’t feel like they will snap and it was only a couple more £. Well worth the investment knowing its going to an independent business!
Description says for 2006 vans onwards but I can confirm that it's good for a 2004 van too. Does the job very nicely. Full coverage of the windows and sticks very firmly.
Very good item and quick delivery
